Chapter 148. Nox prepares for breakthrough

Nox listened to him silently. After Jin finished telling him everything, Nox also realised that Jin was telling him his cultivation insights for him.

Nox sighed when he listened to all that. Even after all that, Jin opened himself with no doubt. Nox felt a warm feeling in his heart and he knew that he was falling for Jin more and more.

He sighed and continued to listen to Jin. Unlike Jin, he didn’t need to make much preparations. Since the disc can store almost everything. He didn’t know what this disc was but it had already stored many things.

Jin suddenly paused and then he told Nox about the harmony nodes. Nox narrowed his eyes slightly when he heard that but then he spoke after some time,

"Maybe the harmony always existed with you but there was something that was stopping you from achieving that. Or might be because of the merging of soul power and spiritual energy, you achieved harmony but now you can’t find that feeling."

Jin also nodded. He also felt the same. Nox suddenly spoke,

"Or it might be related to us.

Jin, can you give me a chance? Aion didn’t need that but I need permission for that."

Jin remained silent with no response. Nox also didn’t force him. He simply chatted about other things and then he entered his spiritual palace.

After entering the spiritual palace, he also noticed the changes around him and he was pleasantly surprised.

He sighed and then he told Jin,

"I am going to cultivate now and I will appear when I enter the lord realm."

Jin nodded and Nox focused on his own path in the spiritual period.

For the next week, there were no changes. Jin planted the resources around the village thanks to the heaven and earth treasures, the spiritual energy in the village became denser and this led to a breakthrough of many.

Tren and Elvy also entered the mid stages of the core realm. Jin spent some time and he looked at other nodes around him and most of them are related to vitality and laws of life.

He comprehended them and integrated them in his own law nodes. He also created many low-level techniques and passed them to the villagers.

He took some lectures and spread the knowledge to every youth in the village.

After one week, there was a slight ripple in his sea of consciousness. He checked and saw that there is yin and yang energy everywhere in the island of Nox. But instead of clashing, they are in harmony.

A spiritual beast stays inside the spiritual palace till they enter the emperor realm. After that, they can transform and stay outside. Nox can also do the same but there are reasons for the spiritual palace.

Inside a spiritual palace, the spiritual beast has high chances to gain enlightenment. The spiritual beasts only follow the path of enlightenment and thus create a path for them which can’t be used by others.

The enlightenment allows a beast to take the path of the maximizing value and bloodline suited for them.

After sensing the changes in the nodes, Jin quickly returned to his residing place and called out Nox.

Nox appeared but he was still focused on his comprehension. Jin didn’t dare to disturb him. He guarded Nox with no words. He just stared at Nox with no expression on his face.

Unknowingly, four more days passed and finally, there were nodes around Nox.

But Jin was stunned when he saw the nodes. Because there were just too many nodes. There were nodes of fire, flame, ignite, burst.

Related to water, there is ice, mist, snow, vapour, steam and so on.

There were too many to count. Then Jin saw something that made it impossible to hide his shock from his eyes. All these nodes were divided into black and white colour and they separated.

Jin continued to watch and unknowingly, he also started comprehending them. The time division of the nodes took two days and Jin lost count of how many nodes he saw between them.

He also gained a lot. Nox continued and finally he made some hand seals and all the nodes around him started to converge around him. His soul born also appeared from his dantian. Then it dispersed in the nodes.

As if a guide found them, the nodes gathered and black and white separated from each other. Nox continued and when all these nodes became one. Only one black and one white remained.

These two were the nodes that Nox took as base. Jin saw this and he waited. Then he saw another node condensing very quickly. He felt familiar from this node and he knew that this was a harmony node.

The Lord realm is called the true foundation for the Laws comprehension. The cultivators take one node and that node becomes their first step on the path that they decided to follow.

Then they comprehend other nodes and merge their comprehension in the node that they chose as their first step. Jin did the same when he comprehended the nodes.

Nox already took this step.

Now the three nodes came close and the left and right were occupied by the yin and yang while the centre node worked as the meditation between the two clashing forces.

As Jin looked at the harmony node, he became thoughtful and then he looked at Nox. In the end, he stopped thinking and sighed.

Nox opened his eyes and spoke softly,

"Nodes converge; sigil emerge."

With that, the three nodes merged and a sigil mark appeared. When the sigil appeared, the energy around Nox underwent a huge change.

The universal laws seemed to sense the appearance of the mark; they descended to give the life leap blessing and provide the sigil authority to Nox.

Nox simply looked at the laws that were descending. He transformed in his true form and a huge black dragon appeared. The dragon has four claws and he has butterfly-like wings.

The entire body is black with strange golden symbols appearing on the body. Jin saw this appearance and the first thought in his mind was majestic.

The dragon raised his head and roared towards the laws. Everyone in the entire village was alarmed and looked in the direction.

Then they saw a large dragon with huge wings roaring at the sky. Moonfern saw this dragon and her bloodline screamed of sheer terror. The ancient apricot tree is also not far off.

They both knew who this dragon was from the pressure. They went in that direction and saw Jin already looking at the dragon.

The sigil entered the dragon and it was shielded by the Nox from the blessing of the universe. Seeing that the blessing and the life leap are being rejected, the universe laws fluctuated and the punishment began.
