#585 - The Buddha wrote the Dharma, so I can write it too.
Guanyin Bodhisattva was about to continue lecturing, completely shattering Tang Sanzang's sense of justice and teaching him to be obedient.
But at this moment, Guanyin Bodhisattva suddenly sensed the aura of a demon king.
A familiar aura!
It was Black Bear Spirit!
Guanyin Bodhisattva's eyes lit up instantly.
Recently, she had heard that Black Bear Spirit was wholeheartedly wanting to work in the Nine-Layered Heavenly Prison, and even Buddha Tathagata felt that this was too outrageous.
This Black Bear Spirit was someone the Western Paradise had been watching for a long time, planning for a long time, just to recruit him into the Western Paradise during the Journey to the West and have him contribute to the Western Paradise.
Originally, the Western Paradise estimated that this demon king could fight Sun Wukong to a draw, and recruiting him would definitely be a great profit.
However, when the Nine-Layered Heavenly Prison recruited new people recently, Black Bear Spirit ran away, and the Western Paradise couldn't retain him no matter how hard they tried.
Even after he came back, the Western Paradise sent people to contact Black Bear Spirit, but Black Bear Spirit refused to contact them very ruthlessly, always saying that the Nine-Layered Heavenly Prison was better than the Western Paradise.
After failing to contact him many times, Guanyin Bodhisattva was eager to subdue him now that she suddenly sensed Black Bear Spirit's aura!
This was a demon king, and if he was cultivated well, he could become a Grand Luo!
“You two, travel west diligently, especially you, Tang Sanzang, you must keep the Buddhist doctrines in mind.”
“If you violate the Buddhist doctrines, you are finished!”
Guanyin Bodhisattva was very confident that Tang Sanzang knew his place and would not resist the mission of traveling west.
Especially after Guanyin Bodhisattva's personal teachings, Tang Sanzang would definitely listen obediently and would never do anything like murder or arson.
Tang Sanzang was a smart man.
As for Sun Wukong, he was even more aware that he had no power to resist.
Guanyin Bodhisattva chased after Black Bear Spirit, ignoring the desperate master and disciple.
After Guanyin Bodhisattva left.
Tang Sanzang held the torch, his face changing uncertainly in the flickering firelight.
He was unwilling!
The sense of justice in his heart was constantly stinging Tang Sanzang.
This group of monk bandits committed arson and murder, and if they were not punished, how could Tang Sanzang's heart bear it!
However, Guanyin Bodhisattva had personally threatened and warned Tang Sanzang not to harm the bandits.
This made Tang Sanzang extremely angry.
Sun Wukong shook his head beside him and sighed:
“Master, save your energy. Anyway, they are just a group of ant-like mortals. Their arson and murder are happening in the territory of Xiniu Hezhou.”
“In the end, it will only harm the people coming and going in Xiniu Hezhou. What does it have to do with you?”
Sun Wukong was optimistic. If it were his own business, he would have killed people directly.
But what did the affairs of Xiniu Hezhou have to do with him?
He was just an innocent little monkey!
Tang Sanzang shook his head, a look of compassion on his face.
“Wrong, everyone has malice in their hearts, but also a sense of justice.”
“The Buddhist scriptures say that all beings are equal. Seeing all beings suffering, if I don’t save them, my heart will be uneasy!”
Tang Sanzang was never an evil person. He insisted on Chu Hao's eight precepts, not because he was really easily fooled.
It was because he had a sense of justice in his heart that had not been extinguished, a most primitive kindness.
He had not been worn down by the Buddhist scriptures of enduring humiliation and cause and effect.
Tang Sanzang hoped that evil people would be punished and justice would be promoted!
However, not a single word in the Buddhist scriptures mentioned how to uphold justice, not a single word said to draw a sword to help when seeing injustice.
It only told mortals to endure, that how the outside world treated you was a test for you.
As you were worn down, the sense of justice in people's hearts and the dignity of being human were all worn away.
Then you could obediently listen to the arrangements of the Western Paradise and become a qualified tool for producing wish power and merit.
Tang Sanzang didn't want to be Tang Sanzang, he wanted to be Tang Sanzhang.
Tang Sanzang was confused.
He needed advanced, righteous Buddhism!
He now felt isolated and helpless, the torch in his hand flickering, and the sense of justice in Tang Sanzang's soul had nowhere to be placed.
Could it be that he really had to listen obediently and let them wreak havoc on the world?
Tang Sanzang clenched his fist, feeling extremely uncomfortable in his heart.
He was trapped in a cloud of confusion, unable to break free.
All the Buddhist knowledge he once had surged like a tide, surrounding Tang Sanzang and making it difficult for him to breathe.
Those Buddhist words that advised Tang Sanzang to be patient, compassionate, and believe in karma echoed in Tang Sanzang's ears, and Tang Sanzang could not escape at all.
The torch in his hand gradually went out.
In just the next second, Tang Sanzang would put down the torch, let everything return to tranquility, and let the heart of justice convert to my Buddha.
But at this moment, a pure white light lit up in front of Tang Sanzang.
A hand, holding a torch, was handed to Tang Sanzang.
“Don’t you want to light up this sinful Chan Monastery? Use this, this is fierce!”
A gentle voice rang in the room.
Tang Sanzang was shocked and suddenly raised his head!
Even Sun Wukong, who had been ignoring him, looked over in surprise!
A gentle and refined white-clothed immortal gentleman, with a faint smile on his lips, was holding a torch and standing in front of Tang Sanzang.
“Immortal Gentleman!”
“Prison God Brother!”
Tang Seng and his disciple became excited and exclaimed.
Chu Hao smiled slightly.
“I know what you want to ask. Don’t worry, I said I’ve always been here, they can’t stop me.”
Guanyin Bodhisattva should be negotiating with Black Bear Spirit somewhere at this moment.
As for those Jie Di, Jialan, etc., under the Zhētiān Talisman, what kind of hammer could they see?
Tang Sanzang's face was full of confusion, and the suffocating feeling like a tide had not diminished.
Tang Sanzang raised his head and asked Chu Hao painfully:
“Immortal Gentleman, there are evil people here who use the Guanyin Chan Monastery as their residence, cruelly committing arson and murder.”
Sun Wukong added beside him:
“In front and behind the Guanyin Chan Monastery, there are more than three hundred corpses!”
Although he had just said that he would not care about the affairs of Xiniu Hezhou, Sun Wukong was not really indifferent!
He was just helpless.
Tang Sanzang looked at Chu Hao firmly and said loudly:
“This poor monk wants to kill them to uphold justice for the world!”
“However, the Buddhist scriptures have never encouraged this matter, please Immortal Gentleman guide me!”
Once again, Tang Sanzang asked Chu Hao for Buddhist teachings!
Chu Hao smiled slightly.
“What is an angry Vajra? You should know, right?”
Tang Sanzang nodded.
“Volume 3 of the *Great Nirvana Sutra* says. Once, among the pure assembly, there was a boy who was not good at cultivating body, speech, and mind karma. Secretly listening to the precepts in a hidden place. Vajra Secret Traces Bodhisattva received the Buddha's divine power. Smashed it into dust with a vajra pestle…”
Tang Sanzang quickly recited the content.
The general idea was that a boy secretly listened to the precepts and was hammered to death by an angry Vajra who jumped out. Then, Kashyapa asked the Buddha, isn't this bullying honest people?
The Buddha said: Hehe, because the Vajra is a transformation of a human, it is okay for a person to kill a person, and in order to tell the world that those who slander the Dharma will be punished, so it is right to beat them to death.
As Tang Sanzang spoke, he stopped talking.
Chu Hao asked back: “Why don’t you continue?”
Tang Sanzang lowered his head.
“It’s just so outrageous!”
Chu Hao smiled slightly, “I’ll tell you some new Buddhist teachings.”
Just made up, still hot!
Since the Buddha said that everyone is a Buddha.
This Buddhism thing, the Buddha made it up, why can't I make it up!
