Strongest Scammer: Scamming The World, One Death At A Time

Chapter 1003: The Great Conspiracy

Chapter 1003: The Great Conspiracy

The Peak Head trembled violently as blood tears flowed from his eyes.

"My peak is gone..."

"Our inheritance..."

The Second Lung Peak Head also looked murderous.

The two brothers stared at Hong Yao like they wanted to tear him apart.

Hong Yura was dragged in soon after.

He arrived confused.

Then saw the hall.

The recordings.

Hong Yao kneeling.

His face lost all color.

The Patriarch pressed him down too.

Now both disciples knelt.

The investigations continued.

Days passed.

Then a week.

And the deeper they dug...

The worse it became.

Han Yu had prepared well.

Too well.

Every clue led to another clue.

Every clue led to the two.

Some disciples said Hong Yao had asked them to move documents. Others said Hong Yura asked them to transfer personnel. Several elders remembered being asked to approve harmless requests.

Nothing seemed strange alone.

But together... It became a conspiracy.

The entire sect watched in disbelief.

Even High Elder Zhongli slowly lost color.

His own investigations returned the same answer again and again.

Both disciples appeared everywhere.

Always nearby.

Always involved.

The First Lung Peak Head slammed the table.

"Kill them!"

The Second Lung Peak Head roared too.

"Execute them immediately!"

High Elder Zhongli stepped forward.

"No!"

His voice echoed.

"My disciples are innocent!"

"Someone is framing them!"

The hall split instantly.

Some agreed.

Some doubted.

The Patriarch remained seated.

Silent.

Watching.

Han Yu stood among the elders.

His expression remained cold.

Serious.

Unmoving.

Inside however... He was pleased.

The Eight Emotions energy pouring into him right now was tremendous.

Suspicion.

Fear.

Rage.

Hatred.

Shock.

The entire Grand Hall felt like a feast.

Even the Eight Emotions Lotus inside his soul space swayed happily. The best part was that things had already gone beyond what he planned. Now even the Patriarch looked uncertain. The hidden faction had become real.

And now...

It had faces.

Hong Yao.

Hong Yura.

Two disciples carrying the burden of an entire fabricated conspiracy.

Han Yu quietly watched them kneel.

Their expressions confused.

Frightened.

Desperate.

And for a brief moment... He remembered the purge.

Remembered the rapier.

Remembered the dead disciples of Twin Leaf Peak.

The emotion in his eyes vanished immediately.

The game had only begun.

The investigations only intensified after that.

With Hong Yao and Hong Yura implicated, the sect finally had direction. For the first time since the tournament disaster, they had actual suspects. The hidden faction that everyone had feared now possessed names, faces and evidence connected to it.

The entire Heart Peak moved.

Every elder that specialized in investigations was mobilized. Storage halls were opened. Secret vaults were checked. Archives spanning thousands of years were searched. And slowly, more things began appearing.

At first it was small.

A hidden compartment beneath an abandoned residence. Then a sealed storage room under an old logistics station. Then another cache hidden inside a mountain wall behind an unused workshop.

Each place contained the same thing.

Ash colored moon symbols, ancient robes embroidered with crescent patterns, fragments of jade slips speaking of a group called the Ashen Moon Remnants.

The first discovery confused everyone. The second made them uneasy. And by the fifth discovery, the Grand Hall had become silent. The Patriarch looked at the ash colored insignia lying before him.

A faded moon.

Grey.

Broken.

Cracked at the center.

"No records?" he asked.

The archive elders shook their heads.

"Nothing."

"We searched sect histories."

"Hidden archives too."

"There are no mentions."

The three Ancestors had even personally checked the ancient records kept beneath Heart Peak.

Still nothing.

No one recognized the Ashen Moon Remnants. The name seemed to appear out of nowhere. Meanwhile Hong Yao and Hong Yura had long since been imprisoned beneath Heart Peak.

The prisons there were ancient.

Built directly into the mountain roots.

Formation arrays covered every wall while suppression chains filled entire chambers and both disciples were restrained separately wtih Qi suppression techniques, soul locking seals and even Life force restraints.

Everything possible had been used.

Two elders personally monitored them at all times.

No one wished to repeat past mistakes.

Han Yu found it slightly inconvenient.

The prison lay beyond the comfortable range of his body and movement there was heavily monitored. More than once he considered acting immediately.

But he waited as timing mattered.

Then finally, the opportunity arrived as another hidden cache was found. This one contained a complete Ashen Moon banner and several jade slips detailing operations. The discovery shook everyone.

Hong Yao and Hong Yura were immediately ordered to be brought up for questioning.

The two disciples were escorted from their cells under heavy guard.

Their appearances looked terrible and months of imprisonment had worn them down. Hong Yao’s face had lost all color while Hong Yura looked even worse. Neither understood what was happening anymore.

The moment they learned another discovery had been made both of them visibly froze.

The escorting elders noticed.

Their eyes sharpened.

"Move!" one barked.

The group continued.

Han Yu’s soul watched silently.

Then he moved.

The restraints around Hong Yura suddenly loosened.

One seal shattered.

Then another.

The Qi suppression techniques unraveled.

The escorting elders reacted instantly.

"What!"

"Stop him!"

Too late.

Hong Yura raised his head as his eyes turned bloodshot and life force erupted from his body.

BOOM!

A terrifying aura exploded outward as the chains shattered.

The man began laughing sounding utterly deranged.

"The Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect will pay!"

His maddened voice echoed through the prison halls.

"Even if it takes a million years... You will pay for your crimes!"

The elders rushed him but Hong Yura attacked instantly.

Life force burned wildly around him knowing that he could not survive.

Han Yu made sure of that.

The man struck one elder back while another was forced away and the prison shook.

More elders rushed down but Hong Yura laughed again.

Anbd moment later...

BOOM!

His body exploded.

The underground prison shook violently as blood and flesh covered the walls. The elders were thrown back from the explosion and coughed out blood.
