The two pirates peered into the ghostly depths.

Some corpses seemed to be very close to the surface of the sea, while others sank a little deeper. They moved at different speeds, but they were all heading in the same direction, which was exactly opposite to that of the Black Pearl.

"It's really scary," Pantel said.

Rajetti rubbed his chin thoughtfully and said to himself, "I wonder what would happen if a cannonball were dropped on one of these corpses?"

The two of them exchanged winks, will this flow of dead bodies be disintegrated? Will any of them open their eyes and respond? Will the shells sink the body when it falls?

Pantel smiled wickedly, and hurried to grab a cannonball.

But when he turned around with the heavy cannonball in his hands, he saw Tia Dalma staring at him sternly, and Pantel, startled, dropped the cannonball in his hand.

"It's disrespectful to do that," he stammered.

Tia Dalma raised an eyebrow, and then she walked slowly to the side of the boat, looking out to sea, watching the bodies sadly.

Even Pantel and Rajetti could see that there was a deeper meaning to her here.

"They are under Davy Jones's charge." Tia Dalma whispered, as if she had completely forgotten that there were two pirates here.

She sighed: "This is the task entrusted to him by the goddess Calypso, to transport these people who died at sea to another world."

"Every ten years, he can go ashore to meet someone who truly loves him." Tia Dalma shook her head, "But he has already turned into a monster."

"He didn't have that many tentacles?" Rajetti asked.

"Yes, he was once a man," Tia Dalma said.

Leaning on the ship's side, she gazed far into the deep middle of the sea, "Poor, unfortunate souls, they must have found their way now."

......

Dawn came and the sun slowly crept across the sky.

The Black Pearl seemed to have sailed in this vast and empty sea for several years.

But they didn't go anywhere, and there was nothing in any direction in which they looked.

Even the wind was still, and the ship floated on the sea with its sails lowered.

To make matters worse, the boat was out of water and there was nowhere to refill the vats.

The crew is thirsty, and everyone is disappointed. Is there really no way to escape this cursed water?

Will stood on the side of the boat, watching the sun slide down to the horizon, and soon, night would fall again.

He saw Pantel lift a bucket and tip it over his head.

Pantel waited, his chapped lips parted, but not a drop of water escaped the empty bucket.

"There's no water," Pantel groaned, throwing the bucket aside. "Why is all the water gone except the rum?"

Tia Dalma came up behind him, her eyes also fixed on the setting sun.

"If we can't leave this equatorial windless belt before night falls." said the mysterious figure with great powers.

"I'm afraid we will sail forever under the starless sky on this celestial sea. We are destined to wander in the watershed between the two worlds forever."

"Without water, forever seems to be coming," Gibbs added ruefully.

Will walked away from the side of the boat without a word.

Chapter 285 Up is Down!Return to the world of the living!

"I'm afraid we will sail forever under the starless sky on this celestial sea. We are destined to wander in the watershed between the two worlds forever."

"Without water, forever seems to be coming," Pantel added dejectedly.

Will walked away from the side of the boat without a word.

He walked towards the chart. Sao Feng's chart was spread out on a large table next to the wheel.

He bent down to look at the picture again, trying to figure out a way out of this strange terrain.

Jack had been there studying the mysterious circles and words.

Between them, Rajetti's wooden eyeballs swiveled to and fro, looking at this stranger chart by an ancient instrument.

Barbossa was at the helm at this moment, shaking his heels slightly, still looking unfazed.

"Why doesn't he do something?" Will wondered.

He read the riddle again: "Cross the border, rewind backwards, do it again, the sun rises and sets, the green light flickers."

"That doesn't make sense at all, the rising sun doesn't set, and the green light appears at sunset rather than sunrise," Will agrees.

Jack leisurely turned the circular circle on the picture, and while he was turning, he suddenly discovered something.

When they are arranged in a certain way, the Chinese characters on each ring line up and read: "Up is down."

"Up is down," repeated Jack. "It's so useless, it's infuriating! Why don't these things ever make it clearer?"

He tapped the chart and saw a small drawing on it of a ship spinning upside down.

As the ship flipped, beams of light spiraled behind the hull like a sunset.

Here comes the inspiration.

"It's not sunset," said Jack. "The sun goes down and comes up."

He has found the answer!Solved the riddle!

Jack sprang out, pointing to the distance beyond the port side of the boat.

"There!" he cried.

All the pirates on deck jumped to their feet, startled by his burst of energy.

"What's that?" Jack cried. "I don't know! Do you know?"

Pantel rubbed his eyes: "Where is it?" he asked.

There was nothing to see there, as there had been nothing since they found Jack on the beach and left.

Jack ran to the side of the boat, and everyone followed him, crowding around him and looking in the same direction.
