Striding towards the shore, this group of grim-looking fellows gathered around the newly dug, now empty pit.
Suddenly, the sound of the church bell drew the attention of the crew to the bell tower, and they saw Will Turner step out of the tower and onto the roof of the church.
Will wants to get rid of Jack, Norrington, and now Jones' men as soon as possible.
Will jumped over a gap in the roof as Norrington swung his sword at him from above an open chasm.
But Norrington cleverly picked the key out of Will's hand with the tip of his sword.
The ex-commodore just felt the weight of the key in his hand before Jack snatched it away, and the weight disappeared.
Norrington was furious and knocked down the sword in Jack's hand in one fell swoop.
He looked back at Will and explained to himself, "Sorry, but I have to kill the man who ruined my life."
"Please." Will replied, he could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Jack held up a finger: "Mr. Former Commodore, let's clarify what you just said, shall we?"
Will couldn't help but smile as Jack tried yet again to turn things around for his own gain.
"Who the hell is it that when you were sure to put a notorious pirate in prison and marry a beautiful girl back home, you waited for the opportunity to let the pirate go and take your sweetheart as your own?" Jack Nods to Will.
Norrington interrupted Jack: "Enough!"
He yelled and slashed at Jack frantically. Jack, who was unarmed, raised his hands suddenly, screamed and slid down from the roof, and the key fell to the ground.
Will clapped his hands and applauded: "It's wonderful!"
"Unfortunately, Mr. Turner," said Norrington, raising his sword to Will, "he was right."
Norrington hated Jack, but he didn't like Will either.
Jack took advantage of a fight under them, picked up the key and ran, and when the two men met swords, Jack yelled to Will, "I'm still with you, man!"
Jack slowed down and walked, hanging the keys around his neck.
Just when he thought he was finally safe, he unexpectedly fell into an open-air grave.
While Jack was struggling to climb out of the pit, Will jumped on the wheels of a water wheel mounted on the side of the church.
The old waterwheel creaked under his weight, and Norrington jumped on it.
With a loud bang, the wheels of the water wheel suddenly fell completely, and Will and Norrington had to keep their feet steady to keep their balance.
The moment Jack finally climbed out of the grave, he was overtaken by the rolling water wheel again, and the key fell from Jack's neck and was caught by a spike on the surface of the wheel.
Jack was quickly thrown off the wheel, lost his keys again, sighed, and set off to chase the runaway wheel.
At this moment, in the jungle of this small island, Elizabeth finally caught up with Pantel and Rajetti.
"Hello, baby," Pantel grinned as Elizabeth confronted them.
He and Rajetti put down the chest and drew the sword, and Elizabeth reached for the sword too, but then remembering that Will had taken it, it began to back away slowly.
Just when the two pirates were about to attack, something rushed into the jungle. The three turned their heads and saw a water wheel rolling over, and Jack was chasing after it.
Pantel and Rajetti shrugged and turned their attention back to Elizabeth when suddenly a barnacle-covered ax buzzed down on a large tree next to Rajetti's head, and Jones' men arrived.
Terrified, Pantel and Rajetti threw their swords at Elizabeth's feet, and they grabbed the treasure chest and ran away.Elizabeth, holding a sword in each hand, followed them through the woods.
They ran desperately, still holding the treasure box in their hands, and the two pirates wanted to walk from the side of a big tree next to them, and finally the box was hit hard on the trunk between the two of them.
Suddenly Jones' men burst out of the jungle.
Looking at the tree trunk, and looking at the menacing sailors with hideous faces, Rajetti, Pantel, and Elizabeth immediately decided: the three of them would abandon the box and flee at lightning speed.
But on the other side of the island, the chase is still going on.
Jack is still chasing the wheel, and the key to the treasure chest's contents is attached to the wheel.
He ran faster, and for the first time was beside the wheel instead of behind it.
Staring at the key that was spinning with the wheel, Jack calculated his steps accurately and jumped into the water wheel again.
Will saw what Jack did from the top where he was.
Reaching down, he removed the key from the peg, and with another vigorous swing, he got back into the wheel.
Norrington quickly followed, Jack stabbed Will, grabbed the key, climbed to the top of the wheel, and jumped into a nearby palm tree.
Hanging from the palm tree, Jack saw one of Jones' men approaching, who was carrying the treasure chest, reached for the coconut, was satisfied with its weight, and slammed it on the sailor's head.
Jack saw the undead sailor's head rolled off of his well-placed coconut, and jumped from the tree, with no other crew in sight.
With the key in his hand, Jack could hardly believe his good fortune as he walked cautiously to the treasure chest.
Jack took a breath, knelt down beside the box, and turned the key in the lock.
Jack opened his eyes wide, and he finally saw what he had been looking for.
Heart of Jones!
He took off his shirt, reached into the treasure chest, wrapped him up safely, then looked around again to make sure he wasn't spotted before leaving.
Jack headed straight for the boat, reached in the bow, grabbed his jar, and dumped some of the soil on the sand, put the peeled heart in the jar again, and filled the jar again with sand.
Suddenly Jack heard a commotion and looked up to see Pantel, Rajetti and Elizabeth rushing out of the woods.
They were still dragging the treasure chest, with Jones' crew in hot pursuit.
Elizabeth bravely swung her sword at Jones' men, but her efforts were increasingly ineffective.
Just when she was almost being overtaken, the giant wheel rushed out of the woods.
The wheels rolled over some of Jones' men, and Elizabeth had time to catch up with Pantel and Rajetti, dragging the chest across the sand, toward the boat.
Jack gritted his teeth, unhappy to see the beach getting so crowded, he stowed the jar in the bow and took an oar to leave or fight.
